Slicestor 1440/2440 fans

The system has six fans. Three fans are at the front of the system and three fans are in the middle of the
system.

Replacing the front fans in the IBM Slicestor 1440 and 2440 systems.
Before you begin
Note: This procedure can be done by one person.
Note: The system must be shut down before any cables are disconnected and any maintenance is done. If
the system is not shut down, the lights on the power supply units are green. When the system is shut
down, the lights on the power supply units are orange.
