RS485 Command Protocol Summary

COMMAND BRIEF DESCRIPTION
READ ION GAUGE Read the current displayed
PRESSURE pressure of the ion gauge in
Torr
SET ADDR OFFSET Set the communications
(RS485) address offset
(upper nibble)
TURN IG ON/OFF Power up the filament and
start reading pressure.
TURN DEGAS Start a degas cycle or turn
ON/OFF off degas.
SET EMISSION Choose either 4mA or 100
CURRENT µA emission current.
SET FILAMENT Choose Filament 1 or 2.
SET OVER Set 100 µA overpressure
PRESSURE turn-off point.
SETPOINT
SET TRIP POINT Set the 'turns on below' (+)

FOR RELAY pressure point for relay
and set the 'turns off above'
(-) pressure point for relay
READ IG ON/OFF Find out if filament is
STATUS powered up and gauge is
reading.
