Troubleshooting

Check the following before requesting repair.
Consult your sales shop if these measures do not resolve a problem, if symptoms not listed
here occur, or if you have a question related to engineering.
Symptom
The power indicator
blinks red.
The power indicator
lights red.
Cannot turn on this
product.
Cannot
communicate
with other store
personnel or the
customer at the
order post.
Cannot hear or talk
to the customer, but
communications
with the store
personnel are OK.
Cannot "talk" or
"page" in certain
areas.

Cause/solution
p p The ID of this product is not yet registered
in the Center Module and a wireless
connection cannot be made.
p Register ID in the Center Module of the target. p
p p The battery is almost exhausted.
p Replace the battery with a charged one. p
p p The battery is exhausted.
The battery is not inserted correctly.
p Replace the battery with a charged one. p
Position the battery properly.
p p The Center Module may be turned off.
p Turn on the power switch of the Center p
Module. If no remedy exists, consult your
dealer for repairs.
p p The ID of this product is not registered in
the Center Module of the target.
p Register ID in the Center Module of the target. p
p p The [S] +[P] or [S] + [T] buttons may have
been pressed at the same time, causing the
extended functions to start.
p Turn the power off and then back on. p
p p The vehicle detector may be malfunctioning
because the detector is not plugged into the
Center Module, no power is supplied, or the
detecting function is out of order.
p Check that the vehicle detector is plugged in p
and has power. If no remedy exists, consult
your dealer for repairs.
p p Radio waves cannot reach the area.
p Remove any metal obstacles blocking radio p
waves.
