Setting the unit

Press a communication button ([T] or [P] button) within the 3 seconds that the
power indicator turns red and green alternately.
Setting Auto-Talk-Lock for Lane A
p ● When the [T] button is pressed, the Auto-Talk-Lock setting is set for Lane A. The
lane indicator blinks orange and "Connecting Center Module A" can be heard from
the earphone. When registration is complete, the voice message "Auto Talk Lock
ON" is heard from the earphone, and the power indicator stops turning alternately.
p ● When the [T] button of this product is not pressed within 3 seconds after the power
is turned on, the voice message "Auto Talk Lock OFF" is heard from the earphone,
and the unit starts as usual.
Setting Auto-Talk-Lock for Lane B
p ● When the [P] button is pressed, the Auto-Talk-Lock setting is set for Lane B. The
lane indicator blinks green and "Connecting Center Module B" can be heard from the
earphone. When registration is complete, the voice message "Auto Talk Lock ON" is
heard from the earphone, and the power indicator stops turning alternately.
p ● When the [P] button of this product is not pressed within 3 seconds after the power
is turned on, the voice message "Auto Talk Lock OFF" is heard from the earphone,
and the unit starts as usual.
p ● If there is a problem registering Auto-Talk-Lock, an error beep and the voice
message "Failed" are heard from the earphone, and the power indicator blinks red to
alert the user the abnormal state. If that happens, retry from step 1.
Note
p p If the power of this product is turned off, all the setting conditions for Auto-Talk-Lock
will be canceled. This setting should be carried out without fail when the power supply
is started up. When using this setting in combination with the manager mode setting,
set the Auto-Talk-Lock setting after the manager mode setting.
p p A headset and (or) a Belt Pack with the Auto-Talk-Lock function enabled operates
with Talk-lock set regardless of the talk button setting.
p p With the Auto-Talk-Lock setup, only one headset and (or) Belt Pack is permitted per
lane. If a second headset and (or) Belt Pack has been set up, the Auto-Talk-Lock
setup will forcibly be released for the first headset and (or) Belt Pack.
