FLAPPER ASSEMBLY WITH TEETER BAR
P/N: 7381737-400.0070A
• Flapper assembly including adjustable teeter
bar with clevis & hair pins

TO REMOVE FLAPPER ASSEMBLY:

• Turn off water supply; flush toilet (remove all
water from the tank)
• Remove electronic tank top unit by lifting lid
and turning quarter turn screws to the Unlock
position and lifting upwards (see FIGURE 1)
• Remove hair pin and clevis pin from the RED
trip lever arm (see FIGURE 2); this frees the
yoke from the red arm
• Remove hair pin and clevis pin from the
BLACK trip lever arm (see FIGURE 2); this
frees the bead chain from the black arm
• Place fingers underneath hinge and pull up
to release all 4 hinges (see FIGURE 3)
• Remove original flapper assembly from tank

TO RE-INSTALL:

• Align the flappers to the flush valve body and
push all four hinges into place (NOTE: the
bead chain should face the front of the tank)
• Insert the RED trip lever arm into the yoke
(see FIGURE 2)
• Push the clevis pin through the arm (see
FIGURE 2); make sure the head of the pin is
facing the front of the tank
• Insert the hair pin (see FIGURE 2)
• Attach the BLACK trip lever arm to the bead
chain coupler (see FIGURE 2)
• Push the clevis pin through the arm (see
FIGURE 2); make sure the head of the pin is
facing the front of the tank
• Insert the hair pin (see FIGURE 2)
