If a system is installed without bypass, the entire flue gas
mass flow rate of the CHP module is led via the fourth
draught of the steam boiler. In consequence, when the
boiler target pressure is achieved, not only the boiler but

also the CHP module have to be shut down, to prevent
further increase of the boiler pressure. Due to this fact,
at times of low steam consumption, pulsing of the CHP
module can occur.
