Do not place a portable wir eless device in the ar ea over an air bag or in the air bag
deployment area. Air bags inflate with gr eat for ce. If a por table radio is placed in the air
bag deployment ar ea and the air bag inflates, the device may be propelled with gr eat force
and cause ser ious injury to occupants of the vehicle.

Turn off your devi ce prior to entering any area with a potentially expl osi ve atmosphere,
unless it is a device especially qualified for use in such ar eas as "Intrinsically Safe" ( for
example, Factor y Mutual , CSA, or UL Approved). Do not remove, install, or charge
batter ies in such areas. Spar ks in a potential ly explosive atmosphere can cause an
explosion or fir e resulting in bodily injur y or even death.
