Limits

§
FCC 15.247(b)(1): Maximum peak output power of the transmitter shall not exceed 1 Watt.
§
FCC 15.247(b)(3): If the antenna of directional gain greater than 6 dBi are used, the power shall be reduced by the
amount in dB that the directional gain of the antenna exceeds 6 dBi.
§
FCC 15.247(b)(3)(i): Systems operating in the 2400 - 2483.5 MHz band that are used exclusively for fixed, point-
to-point operations may employ transmitting antennas with directional gain greater than 6 dBi provided the
maximum peak output power of the intentional radiator is reduce by 1 dB for every 3 dB that the directional gain of
the antenna exceeds 6 dBi..
§
FCC 1.1310:- The criteria listed in the following table shall be used to evaluate the environmental impact of human
exposure to radio-frequency (RF) radiation as specified in 1.1307(b).
