STEP 4 TOOL(S): 4mm ALLEN WRENCH & 10mm SOCKET or WRENCH Place one (1) Floor Panel [G] starting on the edge of the Ramp assembly aligning the mounting holes [Figure 6]. Secure the Panel to the assembly using three (3) M6 x 40 ButtonHead Bolts [H], six (6) M6 Flat Washers [E], and three (3) M6 Nylock Nuts [J] in the mounting holes located closest to the Transition Flap [F], as shown.

STEP 10 TOOL(S): 4mm ALLEN WRENCH & FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER Install one (1) Latch Keeper [Q] onto each open end of the GearCage Side Rail by threading one (1) M6 GearCage x 40 Button Head Bolt [H] with one (1) M6 Washer Pin Nut [S] through Latch Keeper and into the existing Pin Nut located inside the GearCage carrier Side Rail.
RAMP OPERATION [Figure 16] Pull Latches [Figure 15] TO SECURE RAMP UPRIGHT: Lift and pivot the ramp upright until the Pull Latches located on the Side Tubes engage into the “keyholes” of the Latch Keepers. [Figure 15 & 16] NOTE: Pull Latches may be offset and need to adjusted in order to operate properly. TO FOLD DOWN RAMP: Simultaneously pull the Latch Pulls toward the center of the Ramp until each Latch Keeper releases.
Never exceed your vehicle and hitch receiver’s tongue weight specification. Weight and Load Parameters The GearCage Ramp is rated for up to 300 lbs of cargo payload weight. The Ramp weighs 35lbs. For your total weight in hitch, add the ramp and carrier weights.
