Setting up
Primary country adapter
The primary country adapter of the power supply is inter-
changeable, this enables worldwide operation. The following
picture describes the procedure of changing the plug.
After you checked the mains voltage indicated on
the nameplate of the device, connect the mains
supply plug to the mains supply.
Mount the power supply in such a position where it
can be easily unplugged.
To put the power supply out of operation just dis-
connect the power supply from the mains supply.
The HEINE charger is intended for installation in medical areas
outside the patient environment (at least 1.5 meters from the
patient or patient support pursuant to IEC 60601-1, see figure).
The above figure defines the patient environment (minimum
radius around the patient).
Operation
For charging the iC2 Funduscope place it onto the iC2 Charger
as pictured in the product overview.
Make sure that there are no objects in the charging cradle.
The regular blue pulsating charge indicator indicates that the
iC2 Funduscope is being charged. When the instrument is fully
charged, the indicator will be lit permanently blue.
If the charge indicator is not on or flashes orange after inserting
the instrument into the charger, check whether the mains plug
is plugged in and the instrument is correctly seated. If neces-
sary, reset the charging process by removing the instrument
from the charger for a few seconds and then replacing it in
again. If you do not notice any improvement, please contact the
manufacturer.
