Insert Batteries in the Media Remote
Disposable Battery Safety
The Xbox 360 Media Remote uses disposable batteries. See Disposable Battery Safety on page ??.
To insert batteries into the remote control:
1. Remove the media remote battery cover.
2. Insert two new AA (LR6) batteries as shown on the underside of the media remote battery cover.
For best performance, AA rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
3. Replace the media remote battery cover.
Play CDs
The Xbox 360 console can play audio CDs that have this logo:
To play audio CDs:
1. Press the eject button to open the disc tray.
2. Place the audio CD on the disc tray with the label facing up.
3. Press the eject button to close the disc tray. The CD will begin playing.
Share Media
Use your Xbox 360 console to play music, view pictures, and access other media files from other
devices. You can connect USB devices such as music players and digital cameras to the Xbox 360
USB ports. You can also connect your console to a Windows-based PC through an Ethernet cable or
other home network configuration.
