2015 – Current Chevy Colorado & GMC Canyon ADD Lite Side Steps

PREPARATION

1. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. Park the vehicle on level ground and set the
emergency brake.
2. We recommend reading through the installation instructions in whole before performing the work.
3. You will need the following tools:
a. 3/16" Allen Wrench or Allen Key Socket
b. Ratchet
Note: this installation requires 2 people for best results
4. Included in Kit:
8 – Button Head Bolts – 5/16"-18 x 1"
8 – Flat Washers – 5/16"
8 – U-Nuts – 5/16"-18

INSTALLATION

1. From the bottom of the truck, find the rubber plugs that are on the cab, a little farther in than the pinch
weld. Remove the rubber plugs that line up with the three mounts on the side steps. There will be two
rubber plugs per mount and two mounts per side step. Once the rubber plugs are removed, slide the
Extruded U-nuts (x4) into the holes. (Fig A)
2. Line one of the side steps up so that the side with the smaller gap between the mount and the end of
the step is towards the rear of the vehicle. (Fig B)
