3 Hardware Connection
Figure 6 shows a connection example where the target device and also the µIO-Stick is supplied by an separate
power supply. Since in this case the µIO-Stick would not be able to perform a VS power cycling to restart the
device it is wise to connect the reset line as well. If the target device stays in BSL mode upon power-up, such as
for a new, unprogrammed device then the reset line is not required.
