Errors and unusual behavior without error messages

Display/symptom
Meter does not power on (either when
pressing the Enter button or when inserting
a test strip), display remains dark
Meter displays an unexpected result
Meter does not make sounds
Test strip cannot be inserted
If the problem persists, contact Roche Diagnostics (see page 152).
Possible solution
Insert new batteries. Always replace all 4
batteries at the same time. Check if the
contacts are intact.
Refer to the package insert for the test
strips.
Check the settings for Beeper Volume
(page 95) and Button Click (page 97)
Clean and disinfect the meter as indicated
on page 101.
