Taking photos and videos

Recording video in 3D Audio or high resolution audio

Choose to record videos, including selfie videos, with 3D Audio or high-resolution audio.
Some things to know about high resolution audio:
§ It's only available when the video quality is set to HD (720p) or higher.
§ You can't pause when recording video with this type of audio.
§ Videos with this type of audio are saved in MKV (Matroska video) file format.
1. On the Home screen, tap the camera icon to open the Camera app.
2. Switch to Video or Selfie Video mode. See
3. Do one of the following:
§ In Video mode, tap
select 3D Audio.
§ In Selfie Video mode, 3D Audio is selected by default. Tap
resolution audio.
Selecting
allows you to record in 3D Audio without applying Sonic Zoom. To record using

4. When you're ready to start recording, tap
to cover the microphones when holding the phone.
5. Change focus to a different subject or area by just tapping it on the Viewfinder screen. You
can also change the exposure after tapping by dragging up and down on the screen.
6. Tap
to pause the recording, and then tap
7. To stop recording, tap
Videos recorded in 3D Audio are marked with
back the video to enjoy immersive sound.
