    Work Techniques The temperature of the steam at the tip of the nozzle is between 312ºF - 285ºF, it cools to 245ºF 4” from the nozzle tip and 185ºF 8” inches from the nozzle tip. Most bacteria begins to die when exposed to temperatures of 245ºF so keeping the tip of the handle close to the work area is key to successful cleaning.
