K4 is the point at which tones heard through the stethoscope change from a clear sound to a muffled sound. Only use the prescribed boso cuffs with their special connector. The cuff must be selected such that it fits the arm circumfe- rence. -

To do this, first measure blood pressure on both arms and sub- sequently always on the arm which produced the higher rea- ding. Place cuff in such a manner that the lower cuff edge finishes ca. 2 – 3 cm above the elbow and the centre of the rubber bag rests on top of the artery. - Page 6 Warranty Conditions: We give 2 years warranty from the date of purchase. The purchase date has to be proven by the invoice. Within the war- ranty period defects are eliminated free of charge. After re- pairs the warranty period is not extended on the whole unit, but only to the replaced components.
