ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Before Assembly Each 524KL / 524KG Digital Pediatric Seat scale is shipped disassembled in one carton. Carefully inspect the carton for shipping damage before unpacking. SET UP INSTRUCTIONS AUTO-OFF FUNCTION – MODELS 524KL AND 524KG As an energy saving feature, the scale will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of inactivity. By default, this function is enabled. Note: The Auto-off function is only active when the scale is being powered by batteries. -

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS WEIGHING A PATIENT – MODELS 524KL AND 524KG 1. Make sure there is nothing on the weighing seat. 2. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the display assembly on. “88:8:8.8” will appear on the display followed by zeroes. -

DISPLAY SHOWS “CAL” followed by With the scale off, press and hold the LB/KG button (524KL) or the “XXXX” blank blue button (524KG) and ZERO buttons at the same time, then press the ON/OFF button to turn on the scale. “CAL” will briefly appear on the display, followed by four numbers indicating that you can begin calibration. -
