Hom e com puters and peripheral equipm ent generate and use radio frequency (RF) energy. If not installed and used properly (as o u t­
lined in the in stru ctio n s provided by General Electric and the m anufacturer o f yo u r computer), th is equipm ent may cause interfer­
ence to radio and television reception.
T his equipm ent has been type-tested and found to com ply w ith the lim its fo r a Class B C om puting Device in accordance w ith the
sp e cifica tio ns in Subpart J of Part 15 o f FCC Rules. These rules are designed to provide reasonable protection against radio and
television interference in a residential installation. However, there is no guarantee that interference w ill not o ccu r in a particular
installation.
If th is equipm ent does cause interference to radio or television reception (which you can determ ine by turning the equipm ent o ff and
on), try to correct the interference by one or more of the fo llo w in g measures:
• Reorient the receiving antenna (that is, the antenna fo r the radio or television that is " receiving" the interference).
• Change the position of the com puter w ith respect to the radio or television equipm ent that is receiving interference.
• Move the com puter away from the equipm ent that is receiving interference.
• Plug the co m p u te r into a diffe re n t w all ou tle t so that the com puter and the equipm ent receiving interference are on d if­
ferent branch circuits.
If these m easures do not elim inate the interference, please co n su lt your dealer or an experienced radio/television technician fo r addi­
tional suggestions. Also, the Federal C om m unications Com m ission has prepared a helpful booklet, " How To Identify and Resolve
