Turn the Ball Mount Counter Clockwise until the gap between the Ball Mount Collar and Trailer Tongue closes. The top edge of the Ball Mount and the Trailer Tongue should be flush, with no gap. PROPER CONNECTION: The connection should be tight FLUSH, FLAT, NO GAP without any ball pivot.
