POWER INFORMATION

Be sure the power supply you are using agrees
with the nameplate marking on the EHG1600K
heat gun. Voltage decreases greater than 10%
c a n c a u s e l o s s o f p o w e r a n d p o s s i b l e
overheating.
USING EHG1600K HEAT GUN
The EHG1600K heat gun is very light and easy
to use. The switch can be placed in 3 positions-
low, off, high. The low setting is approximately
7 5 2 ˚ F ( 4 0 0 ˚ C ) a n d t h e h i g h s e t t i n g i s
approximately 1112˚F (600˚C). Before plugging
into the electrical outlet, always make certain the
power switch is in the off position.
When ready to begin work, set power switch to
on, and set variable heat control to desired
temperature settings. With the EHG1600K heat
gun, always allow a minute or so for it to reach

its full operating temperature. Always wear
protective gloves and eye protection.
The EHG1600K heat gun is designed with a built
in stand so it can be positioned in an upright
(vertical) position only, on any flat, level surface.
This frees both hands to easily shape and mould
materials. Remember to keep hands away form
the nozzle area.
