Troubleshooting
Possible cause
Appliance is not plugged in or
is not switched on.
No electricity at socket.
Power cord is damaged.
Overheating protection was
triggered. (Possibly due to
blocked hose or tubes,
dirty filters, etc.)
Dust bag is full.
Filters are dirty.
Nozzle, tube or hose is
blocked.
Air regulator is open.
Nozzle is not suitable for the
floor type.
Switch for carpet / hard floor is
not set for the floor type.
Particles are blocking the air
path.
Remedy
Plug in the power plug and
switch on the appliance.
Test the vacuum cleaner on
another socket, where you are
certain that there is electricity.
Have the power cord repla-
ced by a Fakir / nilco service
center or a trained technician
in your country.
Switch off and unplug the ap-
pliance. Eliminate the cause
of overheating (blockage,
dirty filters, etc.). Wait about
45 minutes. Once the appli-
ance has cooled, you can
switch it on again.
Replace the dust bag.
Clean or replace the dirty filter.
Remove the blockage.
Use a long wooden rod (e.g.
a broom handle), if necessary.
Close air regulator.
Attach the correct nozzle.
Set the switch for carpet / hard
floor for the floor type.
Remove the particles. Use
a long wooden rod (e.g. a
