Outrigger Plate & Spike Installation (AF-61 Only)
Using the included outrigger plate provides a wider support base for the speaker cabinet. The included spikes
improve stability on uneven surfaces and thickly carpeted floors. Please use caution when dealing with the
spikes as they are sharp.
IMPORTANT: When using these spikes on hard surfaces such as wood or tile floors be sure to use the provided
floor discs to protect your floor from damage.
IMPORTANT: In order to prevent scratching or damage to the cabinet, turn the speak er up-

side down onto a soft surface w hile you attach the outrigger plate and spikes. We highly
recommend a second person help with this process. Also, please use caution when picking
up and moving the steel outrigger plate. It is very HEAVY!
Attach the spikes and top caps

to the bottom steel plate as
shown in the diagram to the
rights. Please be careful when
picking on the steel outrigger
plate. It is very HEAVY!.
Place the steel outrigger plate on the

bottom of the speak er and attach it
using the six supplied machine
screws as shown in the diagram to
the right. Please exercise caution.
These items are heavy.
Now carefully turn the speaker back

upright. We suggest using a second
person f or this process. Please be
careful of the spikes. They are sharp.
Once the speaker has been m oved

to the final location, rotate the spik e
until the speaker is level. Once level
tighten the top cap to lock the spik e
in place.
