Advanced Installation with Bias Switching
Advanced Installation with Bias Modification for multimode transceivers will require more work and
parts, but it will allow the multimode transceiver to switch bias from the factory set class AB bias for SSB
operation to class C bias during AM operation and at the same time switching from Asymod III enabled
to regular stock configuration. It requires 6PDT switch for dual final transceivers and a 4PDT switch for
single final transceivers. For dual final transceivers follow the connections on Fig. 20 in and refer to Fig.
14 for board locations. Begin by unsoldering the resistor sides of L47, L50 & L35 at points A, B & C.

Begin by unsoldering the long lead sides of L37 & L33 at points A & B.
