10 Installing the Robotic Mower
► Guide the power supply cord through the strain relief (9),
through the cable duct (10) and out the rear of the docking
station.
The power supply is rated for outdoor use. For longer
service life, STIHL recommends protecting the power supply
from direct sunlight and damp or wet conditions.
To mount the power supply:

► Install the power supply outside the mowing area. Always
install the power supply at least one foot above the ground
and never at ground level or in any location where it could
be immersed in water or other liquids.
► Use appropriate screw-in wall anchors or other similar
mounting devices if an appropriate wall stud is not
available.
► Align the power supply as shown above. Mount to a wall
with the following dimensions:

– b = minimum 3.9 in. (10 cm)
– c = 9.2 in. (233 mm)
NOTICE
When mounting the power supply, ensure that no electrical

cables, pipes or other service lines run in the wall behind the
power supply.
► Route the power supply cord outside the mowing area, out

of working range of the mowing blade, and secure it to the
ground or route it through a cable duct.
► Direct the power supply cord away from the docking
station in order to avoid electrical interference with the
perimeter wire signal. Make sure that it will not be in the
cutting path of the robotic mower.
► Close the panel (6) taking care not to pinch the power
supply cord or the perimeter wire.
