DELETING A SECTION OF A MOVIE IMAGE
(PARTIAL DELETE)
• This function works only in the Play mode. page 21
• Set the Storage mode switch to DISC. (SC-DX103/ DX105
only) page 30
• A movie image can be partially deleted.
1. Press the MENU button, then move the Joystick right or left
to select "Edit."
2. Press the Joystick to select "Partial Delete."
3. Use the Joystick to select the desired movie image, then
press the Joystick.
• The selected fi le fi lls the screen with paused.
• To return, use the Joystick to select "Back," then press
the Joystick.
4. Move the Joystick right to play the movie image.
5. Press the Joystick at the start point you delete.
• The start point of deletion will be marked with "."
6. Move the Joystick right to search the end point of deletion.
Press the Joystick.
• The end point of deletion will be marked with "."
7. Press the Joystick to delete the selected part.
• The message "Partial Delete? Selected part of a fi le
will be deleted." will appear.
8. Move the Joystick left to select "Yes," then press the
Joystick.
• The selected part of the movie image will be deleted.
• Do not remove the battery pack or the AC power
adaptor while the partial deletion is in progress. The
fi le can be damaged.
• A deleted part of the movie image can not be
recovered.
• Partial deletion is not available when the recording is
less than 3 seconds.
• Partial deletion is not available when the section or
remaining time is less than 3 seconds.
• When partial deletion is executed, related movie
images in the playlist are partially deleted.

• Una imagen de video se puede borrar parcialmente.
1. Presione el botón MENU y mueva el Joystick a la
derecha o a la izquierda para seleccionar "Edit" (Editar).
2. Presione el Joystick para seleccionar "Partial Delete"
(Borr.parcial).
3. Utilice el Joystick para seleccionar la imagen de video
que desee y presione el Joystick.
• El archivo seleccionado llena la pantalla en pausa.
• Para volver, utilice el Joystick para seleccionar
"Back" (Volver) y presione el Joystick.
4. Mueva el Joystick a la derecha para reproducir la
imagen de video.
5. Presione el Joystick en el punto inicial que va a borrar.
• El punto inicial de borrado se marcará con ".".
6. Mueva el Joystick a la derecha para buscar el punto
fi nal de lo que se va a borrar. Presione el Joystick.
• El punto fi nal de borrado se marcará con "."
7. Presione el Joystick para borrar la parte seleccionada.
• Aparecerá el mensaje "Partial Delete? Selected
part of a fi le will be deleted." (¿Borrado parcial?
Se borrará la parte seleccionada del archivo).
8. Mueva el Joystick a la izquierda para seleccionar "Yes"
(Sí) y presione el Joystick.
• Se borrará la parte seleccionada de la imagen del
video.
• No retire la batería ni el adaptador de alimentación
de CA mientras se encuentre en curso el borrado
parcial. Podría dañarse el archivo.
• Una parte borrada de la imagen de video no podrá
recuperarse.
• El borrado parcial no está disponible al grabar antes
de 3 segundos.
• El borrado parcial no está disponible en una sección
de 3 segundos de la imagen de video ni tampoco en
la sección de 3 segundos del tiempo restante.
• Cuando se ejecute el borrado parcial, las imágenes
de video relacionadas de la lista de reproducción se
borrarán parcialmente.
