DVD Camcorder: Before Recording

Using the Viewfinder
 You can view pictures through the viewfinder to avoid running down the
battery, or to see correct images when the picture on the LCD Screen is poor.
 In the [ (Camera)] or [ (Player)] mode, the Viewfinder will work
when the LCD Screen is closed.
Adjusting the Focus
The focus adjustment knob of the Viewfinder enables
individuals with vision problems to see clearer images.
1. Close the LCD Screen.
2. Use the Focus Adjustment Knob of the Viewfinder to
focus the picture.
Caution
Do not lift the DVD Camcorder by the viewfinder or LCD screen
as it may cause you to drop it.
Note
Viewing the sun or any strong light source through the Viewfinder for a prolonged
period may be harmful, or cause temporary impairment.

Using the LCD ENHANCER

 The LCD ENHANCER function works in Camera Mode/Player Mode/
M.Cam Mode/M.Player Mode. page 26
 It enhances the contrast discrimination for a clear and bright image. This
effect is also implemented even in the outdoors with bright daylight.
1. Set the [Mode] switch to [DISC]
or [CARD]. (SC-DC173(U)/
DC175/DC575 only)
2. Set the [Power] switch to
[ (Camera)] or [ (Player)].
3. Press the [LCD ENHANCER]
button.
 LCD ENHANCER icon (
is displayed.
4. To exit LCD ENHANCER, press
the [LCD ENHANCER] button
again.
Note
LCD ENHANCER function does not affect the quality of the image to be
recorded.

Uso del Visor

 Puede ver imágenes a través del visor para evitar el consumo de la batería,
o ver imágenes correctas cuando la imagen de la pantalla LCD sea pobre.
 En el modo [ (Camera)] o [
se cierre la pantalla LCD.
Ajuste del enfoque
El botón de ajuste de enfoque del visor permite a personas
con problemas de vista ver las imágenes más claras.
1. Cierre la pantalla LCD.
2. Utilice el botón de ajuste de enfoque del visor para
enfocar la imagen.
Precaución
No levante la Videocámara con DVD sujetando el visor ni la
pantalla LCD. Puede provocar su desprendimiento.
Nota
La luz del sol o cualquier fuente de luz intensa a través del visor durante tiempo
prolongado puede ser perjudicial o causar problemas de visión temporales.

 Aumenta la discriminación de contraste para obtener una imagen clara y
brillante. Este efecto también se implementa en exteriores con luz diurna
brillante.
