5. How to c hec k the F an-E rror

After s ending a s ignal to the fan, the MIC O M checks the B LDC fan motor's lock s tatus . If there is no
feedback s ignal from the B LDC fan, the fan motor s tops for 10 s econds and then is powered again for 15
s econds . T o determine that there is a fan motor malfunction, this proces s is repeated 5 times . If the fan
motor is determined to be defective, the error code will be s hown continuous ly in the dis play.
At this point, there is no further check of the fan motor.
(2) A ug 2007 ~
After s ending a s ignal to the fan, the MIC O M checks the B LDC fan motor's lock s tatus . If there is no
feedback s ignal from the B LDC fan, the fan motor s tops for 10 s econds and then is powered again for 15
s econds . T o determine that there is a fan motor malfunction, this proces s is repeated 3 times . If the fan
motor is determined to be defective, the error code will be s hown in the dis play for 30 minutes .
At this point, the proces s will be repeated until the fan motor operates normally. If normal operation is
achieved, the error dis play is eras ed and the MIC OM is res et automatically.
