    GENERAL Medium: 40 slices per minute INTRODUCTION High: 60 slices per minute This manual is for the Berkel X13 Slicer. Procedures Stroke Length (Automatic) in this manual will apply to all models unless specified. Low: 5 in. Pictures and illustrations will be of model X13A unless otherwise noted.

NOTE: Ensure end of cable goes into index knob hole within spiral groove. Disconnect the electrical power to the machine and follow lockout / tagout procedures.

    X13 SLICER - REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF PARTS Install knife motor as outlined under KNIFE MOTOR AND MOUNT ASSEMBLY . Pull belt tight and walk onto knife hub. NOTE: Make sure belt is seated properly on motor shaft grooves and knife hub. Knife belt should be centered on knife hub and completely on motor shaft.

Exercise extreme caution at all times. If test points are not easily accessible, disconnect power and follow lockout / tagout procedures, attach test equipment and reapply power to the test.
