Defective TARE or HOLD key.
• Scale in motion.
• Scale is damped.
• Dust on PCB board.
• Unstable system power.
• Load-cell stressed too much
or too long.
• Scale is not zeroed before
loading.
• Re-calibration needed.
• Improper unit.
Solutions
• Replace batteries.
• Press ON/OFF key for long
Clean TARE or HOLD key.
• Stabilize the load and scale.
• Dry the scale.
• Clean PCB board.
• Longer warm-up time.
• Hang the scale in storage.
• Keep the scale unloaded and
reboot.
• Re-calibrate the scale.
• Switch to proper unit.
