Data usage
The data usage is the amount of data uploaded or downloaded by the device over a certain
period over the mobile data connection or WLAN. Most tariffs include a restriction of data
volume. So as not to incur any additional costs, you can check the data usage of the device and
change it as required.
Checking data usage

Settings
Displayed in Cellular is the data volume sent so far in the current month for every SIM card
inserted.
Displayed in Wi-Fi is the data volume sent over the WLAN for the current day and month.
Showing further information, such as the apps involved in data usage:

In the header, tap the name of a mobile network operator or Wi-Fi
the apps
Setting a limit and warning for data usage

limit . . . The data volume agreed with the mobile network operator is entered in the graphic.
Data usage is disabled automatically when the limit is reached. You receive a notification.
Setting a limit for the warning:

In the graphic, touch the Warning line and drag it to the required position . . . You receive a
notification when the data volume reaches the set value
Re-enabling data usage:

Disable the function again with the switch next to Set cellular data limit
Data transmission can now incur costs.
Enabling/disabling mobile data connection
When you disable data transmission over the mobile network, actions with high data usage
(such as updating apps) are only performed when there is a connection to a WLAN.
