INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

INSTALL CYLINDER(S)
(EXPOSED TYPE)
Exposed cylinders are installed after
escutcheon trim.
Cylinder ring

TURN PIECE
Install turn piece and project
deadbolt. Align screw holes on
vertical and fasten with screws.
Align on vertical

NOTE: Turn piece must hide screws
when bolt is retracted.
Tighten set screw(s) against
cylinder(s).

NOTE: Adjust cylinder(s) so that
cylinder plug is positioned as shown.
Install armored front.

Install emergency button

LOCK HAND
A. CHANGE LATCH HANDING
Remove armor front. Pull anti-friction

INSTALL INDICATOR PLATE
(HOTEL FUNCTION)
Install "DO NOT DISTURB" indicator
plate and cylinder collar.
Fasten with provided screw. Refer to
template ( 9 hs" diameter hole).

ESCUTCHEON TRIM
1. (Lever trim only) Position spring
cages on spindles with arrows
pointing in direction of lever
rotation.
2. Slide outside trim unit onto spindle
and mounting posts thru door. Hold
unit in place.
3. Place inside trim unit onto spindle.
Insert and tighten mounting
screws.
Mounting screws -
inside of door ONLY
Turn piece must
be vertical
when bolt is
retracted.
Slip trim onto spindles.

B. CHANGE CHASSIS HANDING
Remove catch screw from one side
of chassis and install on opposite
side. (Catch screw must always be
on inside of latch chassis for proper
functioning of lock.)
