Troubleshooting Chart A (see Figure 4-1) leads you through some pre-
liminary steps to determine if the computer (CPU) is working. This is
determined thru the BootROM self tests. The host computer must be
operational before you can determine what is wrong with the 98700H.
After replacing each faulty assembly, check to see if the power on lights
come ON. When the power on lights all light continue with step 4. If
the power on lights do not light, troubleshoot the assembly that fails to
light.
