The center of the Drive mattress (part number 14508) may be deflated while the head and foot remain firm due to a malfunctioning control unit, blocked air cells, or an issue with the air pressure distribution system. Possible causes include:
1. Airflow Blockage – A kinked or disconnected air hose may prevent proper inflation. 2. Control Unit Malfunction – The air pump may not be functioning correctly, leading to uneven inflation. 3. CPV Valve Activation – The emergency pressure release valve might be open, affecting air distribution. 4. Damaged Air Cells – A leak or puncture in the air cells could result in deflation in certain sections. 5. Incorrect Setup – Misconfigured settings or improper connection of quick connectors might disrupt airflow.
Check for hose obstructions, ensure proper connections, inspect for leaks, and reset the control unit. If the issue persists, seek service or replacement through an authorized Drive dealer.
