Adjusting the Airfl ow Direction and Rate You can adjust the airfl ow direction to increase your comfort. COMFORT AIRFLOW / INTELLIGENT EYE Operation NOTE Notes on COMFORT AIRFLOW operation • The airflow rate will be set to AUTO. If the up and down airflow direction is selected, COMFORT AIRFLOW operation will be cancelled. Notes on INTELLIGENT EYE operation • Application range is as follows. If no people are detected in either area 1 or 2 for 20 minutes, the air conditioner switches to the energy-saving mode with the set temperature shifted by 2°C.
SUPER POWERFUL / HEAT PLUS Operation SUPER POWERFUL operation: SUPER POWERFUL operation quickly maximises the cooling (heating) effect in any operation mode. In this mode, the air conditioner operates at maximum capacity. HEAT PLUS Operation: Air emitted in this mode is of higher temperature than it is in normal HEAT operation. COOL/HEAT mode lock The COOL/HEAT mode lock requires initial programming during installation. Please consult your authorized dealer for assistance. The COOL/HEAT mode lock sets the unit forcibly to either COOL or HEAT operation. This function is convenient when you wish to set all indoor units connected to the multi system to the same operation mode. NOTE • The COOL/HEAT mode lock cannot be activated together with the priority room setting. Priority room setting (Not available on some models) The priority room setting requires initial programming during installation. Please consult your authorized dealer for assistance. The room designated as the priority room takes priority in the following situations.
Care and Cleaning CAUTION • Before cleaning, be sure to stop the operation and turn off the circuit breaker. • Do not touch the aluminium fi ns of the indoor unit. If you touch those parts, this may cause an injury.
