5.1 Cleaning and care
1. Pull the plug out before cleaning.
2. Never submerge the appliance
in water.
3. Main switch shall always be tur-
ned off (0) when you are done
with serving tea or heating wa-
ter.
4. Teapot and filter may be washed
in the dishwasher or by hand.
Empty the kettle compartment
and wipe this area with a dry or
damp cloth, never wash it by im-
mersing it to water.
5. Lime in the water will collect on
the base of the kettle and redu-
ce the efficiency of the kettle
in the course of the time. Put
commercially available descaling
agents or some citric acid (citra-
te) inside the kettle with some
water and boil it; then wait for
a while and rinse and pour down
the water. Do not forget to rinse
carefully with clean water.

5.2 Storage

• If you do not plan to use the ap-
pliance for a long period of time,
please store it carefully.
• Make sure the appliance is un-
plugged and completely dry.
• Do not wrap the power cord
around the appliance.
• Keep it in a cool, dry place.
• Make sure that the appliance is
kept out of the reach of children.
