Operating Safety Precautions
As the user of this product, you are responsible for operating it safely, not endangering yourself and

Charging Warnings
WARNING: Failure to comply with the following warnings could result in product malfunction, electrical
issues, excessive heat, FIRE, and ultimately injury and property damage.

NEVER LEAVE CHARGING BATTERIES UNATTENDED.

Never charge damaged batteries. If the battery begins to swell during charging or use, discontinue
immediately.

Always use the included battery and charger. Disconnect the battery after charging.

Charge batteries away from flammable materials in a well-ventelated area.
»
Never charge, transport, or store batteries in hot, cold, or very sunny places (recommended between
40–120° F or 5–49° C).

Binding
Your ECX
®
transmitter comes bound to the vehicle from the
factory, however you may need to rebind the vehicle at some
point. While pressing the bind button, power on the vehicle (small
push button located within the on/off switch). The receiver will blink

Control test check
1. Do a test of the transmitter's control of the vehicle with the
vehicle's wheels off the ground.
2. Start driving slowly, and, if the vehicle does not go straight,
adjust the steering trim dial on the transmitter.
IMPORTANT: Seat the motor brushes by driving
smoothly on a flat surface during use of the
first battery charge. Properly seating the motor
brushes will increase the life and performance
of the motor.
