"File Error" appears
when photos or
video are replayed.
You cannot record
video or take
photos.
Video is unclear.
You cannot access

The DC40GT locks

displays when trying
to add GPS location
to manually added
positions while
recording.

Try this...
Format card error. Reformat your MicroSD
card through
Format
.
Check the microSD card; it might be out
of space. Either delete files from that
microSD card or use a new microSD card.
Clean the lens and the windshield.
If you are recording and press MENU, the
menus should display.
• If you are still recording, press ▼ to
stop recording.
• Try pressing other buttons.
If there is no response or recording does
not stop, turn the unit off and back on
again.
Turn the camera off, wait a few seconds,
and then turn it back on.
GPS Setup
Go to
2.4 in. LCD
DDR3
Menu/File Management/
and configure GPS.
