  • Page 25 Note: Use the direct mount (included) only for mounting the projector on a wall or ceiling. If installing on a lighting track, use only the optional lighting track mount (ELPMB54). If you do not mount the projector, use only the optional floor stand (ELPMB55). Note: Be sure to leave at least the following amount of space around the projector to avoid blocking the air exhaust and intake vents.

    You can rotate the projection unit 360 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically. You can also tilt the image 90 degrees in either direction.   • Page 27 2. Loosen the ball joint screw using the supplied hexagonal wrench. Make sure to support the projection unit while loosening the screw so that it does not move suddenly. Warning: Do not grip the ball joint with your fingers while loosening the screw or your fingers could get pinched.

    Attaching and Removing the Cable Clips You can install the cable clips that came with your projector to provide additional support to the power cord and HDMI cable. 1.     Connecting to an HDMI Video Source If your video source has an HDMI port, you can connect it to the projector using an optional HDMI cable. The HDMI connection provides the best image quality. 1. Connect the HDMI cable to your video source's HDMI output port. 2.

    Inserting an SD Card Insert a commercially available SD card into the projector's SD card slot. Note: An SD card is required to project from a playlist created using the Epson Projector Content Manager software. Make sure you use an SDHC card of Class 10 or higher with a maximum capacity of 32GB, or an SD card formatted in FAT16 or FAT32.

    Installing Batteries in the Remote Control The remote control uses the two AA batteries that came with the projector. Caution: Use only the type of batteries specified in this manual. Do not install batteries of different types, or mix new and old batteries. 1.

Any sound or video action continues to run, however, so you cannot resume projection at the point that you stopped it.

    You can create playlists combining images and movies and save them to an SD card. You can then insert the SD card into the projector and select the playlist you want to project.
