Malfunction occurs on digital signal processing circuit.
• Check the digital signal circuit around IC400.
(SGRAM R : IC4J0, G : IC4G0, B : IC4H0)
• Using the shielding sheet metal as GND is allowed when checking the voltage waveform or terminal voltage.
• When replacing the PCB or the optical unit, follow the instructions on the service manual.

Is the lamp lit?
Is the indication on LED normal after POWER ON?

(POWER : Green, LAMP : Green)
Is the proper video signal inputted?

Or is the image projected correctly?
Malfunction of the drive circuit.
• Check the voltage waveform of each
connector, SRX, SGX and SBX.
• Check the video signal circuit around IC800
- 803, IC8A0 - 8A3 and IC8M0 - 8M3.
NO
• Check the panel control circuit around
IC5A1 - 5A3, IC4W0 and IC4W1.
* If the above voltage waveform is normal,
malfunction occurs on the LCD panel.
* If the video signal is normal and only the
menu display is abnormal, check the area
around SGRAM : IC4S0.
Malfunction of the analog/digital circuit around
the input terminals of the computer.

• Check the video signal circuit around J200
and IC600.
• Check the synchronizing signal circuit
around J200, IC240, IC500, IC520 and
IC530.
Malfunction of the circuit around the video
input terminal.
YES
Check the video signal circuit around J2M0,
IC2A1 and IC2A2.
