Figure 10-9 shows the charging process. For an over-discharged battery whose voltage is
lower than 2.2 V, the system charges the battery in trickle charging mode with a 2 mA current.
After the battery voltage is between 2.2 V to 3.3 V, the system charges the battery in trickle
charging mode. In this process, if USB charging is used, the charging current is about 70 mA.
If a charger is used, the trickle charging current is 200 mA. After the battery voltage reaches
3.3 V, constant current charging starts. The charging current in this process can be controlled
by the phone software. On the charger provided with the G700-U10, the triode is completely
enabled to activate the charger's automatic current limiting function. When the battery voltage
reaches 4.1 V, constant voltage charging starts. When the battery voltage reaches the threshold
set by the software, the charging process ends. Once the battery voltage exceeds 4.35 V, an
overvoltage protection component will disconnect the charging circuit to protect the battery.
