7.1 Surround Sound*
Every Rocketboost network must contain at least one hub device, which directs network data tra c and helps devices
join the network. The network can have only one hub, which can be enabled by using the hub switch on the back of all
Rocketboost transmitters. See your User Guide for instructions on joining devices to the network.

Step 1 Preparing the remote control
SUPPORT SURROUND SOUND
To activate the battery:
Remove the tab from the bottom of the remote control to enable the battery.
Step 2 Connecting the receiver

Step 3 Establishing communication
To power on and switch to joining mode:
1 Press and hold the button on the hub unit (the hub will be identi ed by a solid green power LED or ashing green if there
are no other devices connected to the network) for more than three seconds to put the unit into joining mode.
The unit will stay in joining mode for about 30 seconds.
• The Power/Join indicator starts blinking fast.
2 Press and hold the button on the Rocket sh receiver for more than 3 seconds to put the unit into joining mode.
The unit will stay in joining mode for 30 seconds.
The Power/Join indicator starts blinking quickly. When connected, both units will show a solid LED for successful connection.
• If the Power/Join indicator blinks at a slower rate, the link is not successful. Retry the joining operation.

Tip: When connecting rear and surround
channels you can see which device you
are connecting to over the air by
AC cable pressing the Source button. The
sender's LED will blink for a few seconds
showing the connection between the
Quick Setup
transmitter and receiver. This makes it
easier to con gure rears and surrounds
without relying on AVR test patterns.
