Notebook Software
Importing Images with the Insert Menu
Insert a picture from a file on your hard drive or network by selecting Insert > Picture File, and use the
dialog box to find and insert your picture.
You can import printed material, e.g., overhead transparency sheets if there is a scanner connected to your
computer.
1 Select Insert > Picture From Scanner.
The Insert Scanned Picture dialog box opens.
2 Select a scanner from the list
3 Press the Scan button
4 Scan your picture and adjust it as needed, following the instructions provided by the scanner's
software
5 When the scan is complete, close the dialog box and return to Notebook software

The Gallery

The Notebook software Gallery helps you quickly develop and deliver presentations in rich graphic detail.
Thousands of images, pages, videos, Flash files and entire Notebook files are organized into searchable
collections that will allow you to create attractive, reusable lessons.
Launch the On-
Screen keyboard
Press to view your
previous search results –
works in a similar manner
to an Internet browser's
back button
Select a folder and
thumbnail images of its
content will be displayed
in the lower Gallery
window

Type to search for Gallery
content by keyword
Press to view search
results in the lower
Gallery window
Press to import content
into the My Content area
of the Gallery collections
Press the Gallery tab to
open the Gallery
Select a thumbnail and
drag it to the work area
