Pull the pump handle to the top of its stroke.

Open the vent valve.

Pull out the valve rod selector to select low pressure/high volume.
Open the vent valve...
6 Pump ten full strokes.
7 Close the vent valve
8 Continue pumping to verify the low pressure/high volume setting operates properly and that the pump holds pressure.

Open the vent valve.

Pump ten more strokes.

Remove the high pressure/low volume check valve plug.
then select low pressure/high volume.
