Emergency Deactivation
Press the SOS button for 4 seconds to cancel the emergency
activation (406 MHz and Iridium distress alert). The 406 MHz
distress alert can only be canceled by pressing the SOS button.
The
button will stop flashing after the emergency activation has
been cancelled.
1. If the beacon is inadvertently activated for longer than 50 seconds, a
live burst is transmitted. Follow instructions in the "False Alarms"
section in this manual.
2. Perform a Self-Test, as outlined in the "406 MHz Self-Test" section in
this manual.
