43. Never use the seat or pram body as a means to transport an infant in a
motor vehicle.
44. STRANGULATION HAZARD:
- Child can strangle in loose restraint straps. NEVER leave child in carrier
when straps are loose or undone.
- Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string around
a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. Do not suspend
strings over a pram body or cradle or attach strings to toys.
45. SUFFOCATION HAZARD:
Infant carriers can roll over on soft surfaces and suffocate child. NEVER
place carrier on beds, sofas, or other soft surfaces.
46. SUFFOCATION HAZARD
Infants can suffocate:
- In gaps between an extra pad and side of the pram body/carrycot/
cradle
- On soft bedding.
NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use ONLY the pad
provided by Bugaboo.
47. To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend health infants be
placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by physicians.
48. Always use the harness with the seat.
49. Do not use this pram body if you cannot exactly follow the accompanying
instructions.
50. Do not use this pram body for a child who can roll over or who has
reached the manufacturers's recommended weight limit.
51. Do not place in or near this pram body any cord, strap or similar item that
could become wrapped around a child's neck.
52. Do not place this pram body near a window or a patio door where a child
could reach the cord of a blind or curtain and be strangled.
53. Check this pram body regularly before using it and do not use it if any
parts are loose or missing or if there are any signs of damage. Do
not subsitute parts. Contact the manufacturer if replacement parts or
additional instructions are needed.
54. Use a pram body mattrress that is no thicker than 3.8cm and is of such
a size that, when it is pushed firmly against any side of the pram body it
does not leave a gap of more than 3 cm between the mattress and any
part of the sides of the pram body.
55. Children can suffocate on soft beddding. Do not place pillows, comforters
or soft mattresses in this pram body.
