Using Your Brewer

1
Place Brewer upright on a flat, level, stable surface and plug into the wall
outlet.
2
Remove Water Reservoir Lid and fill with water to the MAX fill line. Your
Reservoir also comes equipped with a handle for easy removal from the
Brewer. Simply lift the handle straight up to remove and carry directly to
your water source.
3
If you removed the Water Reservoir for filling place it back on the
Brewer by lining up the Tab on the back of the Brewer (figure 1) with the
receptacle on the Water Reservoir (figure 2) and push straight down until
it stops. Place the Water Reservoir Lid back on the Water Reservoir.
NOTE: Always ensure that the water level in the Water Reservoir is above
the MIN line prior to brewing.
4
Press the On/Off Button until you hear a single beep. All cup size buttons
will begin to blink indicating that the water is heating.
5
Lift the Brewer Head Handle (figure 3) and insert a capsule into the
Capsule Holder. Do not remove the cover from the beverage capsule.
6
Lower the Brewer Head as shown in figure 4.
7
Place a cup on the Drip Tray and ensure that it is pushed all the way back
towards the Brewer. If you are brewing a travel mug it may be necessary
to remove the Drip Tray to accommodate a taller size cup.
8
Ensure that the beverage cup that you are using is large enough to
accommodate the brew size you are selecting.
9
Press the cup size button of your choosing once the lights remain steady.
You will hear a short beep and the brewing process will begin.
10
Wait until you hear two short beeps at the end of the brewing process
prior to removing your beverage.
11
You can cancel the brewing process at any time by pressing the
illuminated cup size button that you selected. You will hear two short
beeps once pressed.
Caution: Wait 20 seconds before opening the Brewer Head after the
brewing cycle has been canceled to allow steam/residual water to purge
completely.
Caution: Do not open lift the Brewer Head Handle while the machine is
brewing. If the handle is lifted during the brewing process the pump will stop
brewing and all button lights will begin blinking. A continuous beeping sound
will be heard indicating the potential danger of scalding water sputtering
from the Brewer Head. Lower the Brewer Head immediately to the closed
position as shown in figure 4.
Note: The water pump will always stop before the brewing cycle is complete.
The chosen cup size button will blink for approximately 10 seconds after the
pump stops to let steam purge the residual water from the beverage capsule.
This ensures that you receive maximum coffee extraction from the capsule.
We recommend using Wolfgang Puck RealCup™ Coffee. Please visit
HSN.com to see the latest selection of Wolfgang Puck Coffees. Your Brewer
is also compatible with all varieties of Keurig® K-Cups®.

Using Your Brewer (Cont.)
A few notes about brewing different beverages in your Brewer:
If brewing powdered beverages such as sweet teas or hot chocolate
we recommend a rinse cycle after the beverage is brewed. Remove
the beverage capsule from your Capsule Holder and close the Brewer
Head (see figure 4). Place a cup on the Drip Tray and press the Medium
Cup Button. This will clean out any residual content that may be on the
Brewer Head Needle.
Your Brewer can make the perfect iced beverages as well. Since heat
is needed to extract the maximum flavor from the capsule we suggest
placing ice in a cup prior to brewing. Place the cup on the Drip Tray
and press the desired cup size. We do not recommend brewing an
iced beverage into a glass cup. The combination of cold ice and a hot
beverage could cause the glass to crack.
You can also use your Brewer without a capsule inserted to produce hot
water. Place a cup on the Drip Tray, lower the Brewer Head and press the
cup size of your choice.
