Wi-Fi

You can connect your Wi-Fi certfied mobile device to this product via Wi-Fi connection.

Wi-Fi connection

Turn on the Wi-Fi function on the device.

Touch [Wi-Fi Settings].

Set [Wi-Fi] to [ON].

Touch [Device Information].

Connect this product with the dislayed network name in [Device Information]
from the mobile device.

NOTE
This setting is available only when you stop your vehicle in a safe place and apply the handbrake.
The menu items vary according to the source.
Menu Item Description
[Wi-Fi] Switches Wi-Fi connection on or off.
[ON] [OFF]
[Device Information] Displays the network name and MAC address of this
product.

Wi-Fi audio

Before using the Wi-Fi audio player, connect the device to this product via Apple CarPlay
(page 55) or Android Auto wirelessly (page 57).

Touch [Wi-Fi Audio].
The Wi-Fi audio playback screen appears.
NOTES
• [Wi-Fi Audio] is displayed as [Android Auto] when the Android Auto is in use.
• [Wi-Fi Audio] is displayed as [Apple CarPlay] when the Apple CarPlay is in use.
Basic operation
Wi-Fi audio screen (Example: Apple CarPlay)
Wi-Fi audio with Apple CarPlay operation is same as the iPod source function. For details
of the operation, refer to the iPod operation (page 51).
