1. Display backlighting is supported and timed out (see the control's instructions for details).
2. The FA570KP is required for certain advanced user functions (see the control's instructions for details).

For ULC installations, the FA1660C Series must be used with the FA570KP keypad.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The FA220KP, FA270KP & FA570KP are addressable,
remote keypads and are intended for use with the controls
listed in the table above. Addresses are set via the keypad
keys (no DIP switches). The keypads are also compatible
with older control panels using the non-addressable mode
(address 31).

Lights when the system is armed in any mode

Lights when the system is "ready" to be armed.
SPECIAL FUNCTION KEYS
The keypads also feature programmable Special Function
keys. (See table below.) These keys may be programmed for
panic alarms or other special functions. See the control's
instructions for details. The FA220KP uses the panic key
pairs only. Special Function keys must be held down
for at least 2 seconds to activate an alarm.

WIRING AND INSTALLATION
The keypads can be surface mounted directly to a drywall, or to
a single- or double-gang electrical box.
1.
To remove the case back, insert a small screwdriver
blade at a downward angle into Slot 1 and twist (the
right side pops up). Insert the screwdriver blade at a
downward angle into Slot 2 and twist (the left side pops
up). Insert the screwdriver blade into right side narrow
Slot 3 and twist. Separate the case back from upper case.

Route wiring from the control panel through the large
opening in the case back.
3.
Mount the case back to a wall or electrical box.
4.
Use the wiring table on the next page when
connecting the keypad. Wire directly from the
keypad's terminal block to the terminal block on the
X
control's PC board.

5.
Reattach the keypad to its case back.
