3. BASIC OPERATION

CONTROL KNOB
The radio unit may be operated when the
ignition key is in the
"ACC"
or
"ON"
position.
Press the button to switch the power on.
The LCD (Liquid Crystal Disply) shows the
radio frequency in the radio mode. To
switch the power off, press the button
again.
VOLUME CONTROL
Rotate the knob clockwise to increase the
volume and counterclockwise to reduce
the volume.
@ LCD (LIQUID CRYSTAL
DISPLAY) PANEL
The Liquid Crystal Display panel displays
the frequency, band, channel of
Radio
mode and track, funtion of CD mode.
o BASS/TREBLE
CONTROL KNOB
Press the knob out and rotate the knob
clockwise to increase the bass and counter-
clockwise to reduce the bass.
To control the treble, pull the knob out
slightly. Rotate the control knob clockwise to
increase the treble and counterclockwise to
reduce the treble.
@ FADER CONTROL
This knob is located behind the volume
knob. Rotate the knob counterclockwise
to emphasize rear speaker sound.
(Front
speaker sound will be
attenuated.)
When the control knob is turned
clockwise, front speaker sound will be
emphasized. (Rear speaker sound will
be attenuated.)

O BALANCE CONTROL
Pull-out the volume knob and turn the
control knob clockwise to emohasize
right speaker sound. (Left speaker
sound will be attenuated.)
When the
control knob is turned
counterclockwise, left speaker sound
will be emphasized. (Right speaker
sound will be attenuated)
